“You will find peace not by trying to escape your problems, but by confronting them courageously.“
J. Donald Walters, Swami Kriyananda
Whether you feel stressed, confused, stuck, lost, sad or scared, I aim to help you achieve relief, focus, and a plan.
Sometimes things happen and we respond in ways that we do not want to behave. Those times signal the need to assess what is going on, determine what we do have power over, and how we can take a different action. Therapy can help. Below are pictures and art that touch on feelings we have:

National Gallery of Art, Washington DC

- A wrecked car lodged into a structure. It reminds me of when we find ourselves in a major bind.
- To feel as cheerful as this horse statue!
- The path and doorway. What will we find when we open the door?
- The colorful painting – title: Political Drama from 1914, the year WWI officially began. It depicts the murder of Gaston Calmette, editor of Le Figaro in Paris by Henriette Caillaux. You can feel the sense of discord.
- Portrait of a Young Woman. She appears sad, contemplating or tired.
